Welcome to Airhart Aviation, an intrepid floatplane and landplane flight training school in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. We are a team of laid-back adventure-seeking bush pilots, enthusiastic to infect the next willing candidate with the aviation bug. If you want to become a pilot in Canada, our experienced instructors strive to provide the best instruction in a fun and safe environment while ensuring you create a mountain of lifelong memories.
Speaking of mountains, we are privileged to operate out of Kelowna in the British Columbia interior. The diverse landscape and weather systems provide some of the most inspiring and challenging seaplane (and landplane) conditions; mountains, lakes, boat wake, wind and canyons – our students leave Airhart with confidence in their newfound aviation skills.
We offer flight training for Private License (PPL) and Commercial License (CPL) on float and land planes, floatplane ratings (seaplane rating) and tailwheel endorsement, a comprehensive 50-hour mountain flying course, class 4 instructor ratings and recreational licenses. Whether you are looking to start an exciting new career or hobby, or just advance your skills and repertoire, we have a program to suit you.
If you’re interested in becoming a pilot in Canada, whether for a hobby or career, it can be confusing to know where to start, or what move to make next. That’s why we’ve put together a comprehensive ‘How to Fly in Canada’ guide to help you figure out how to get started, or how to further your Aviation career. Make sure you have a thorough look through the guide first, and if you still have questions don’t hesitate to reach out
