Recreational Pilot Training
In August of 1995, Transport Canada, after considerable industry consultation, approved the Recreational Pilot Permit. This information includes a summary of the new regulations.
Air-Hart Aviation has published a complete and comprehensive Flight Training Syllabus which details a flight-by-flight program. All graduates from the recreational pilot course will have the confidence and qualification to fly aircraft almost anywhere in Canada.
Unliked the Recreational License that is offered in the United States by the FAA, there is no restriction on distances or areas flown within the country, other than usual airspace restrictions.
Privileges
- Fly anywhere in Canada.
- Fly any single-engine aircraft up to four place, non-complex, non-high performance aeroplane.
- Carry one passenger.
- May obtain float endorsement.
- Daytime Visual Flight Rules only. No night rating offered.
