C-180 Pilot Competency Check Training
Air-Hart's C-180 Pilot Compentency Check is an optional training course add-on to our 50 Hour Bush course. It may just give you the extra advantage you need to get your first bush Job. When you start with an operator, before you can start flying, the operator is required to provide company indoctrination training. This is typically at least three hours of flying and a number of hours of classroom training. This three hours flight training can count towards your 50 hour bush course.
Giving You an Advantage
Company indoctrination training is mandatory for every operator. Since this company indoctrination training is transferrable from one company to another, you will be saving the operator time and money. Flagging this in your resume is going to get you noticed. Included in the training:
Icing Training
Flight Following
Emergency Procedures
Aircraft Servicing & Water/Ground Handling
Costs: $330.00 ( Approximately 6 Hours of Training)
Note: this does not include self study time and exam time)
Why the 180?
Most operators you will fly with will not have anything smaller than a C-180. Even if you have taken most of your training on the C-172 XP, you should try to get a minimum of 5 hours on the 180 as part of the 50 Hour Bush Course.
